Sensory

So many tactile things to explore.....I found my favourite things today,lots to choose from,while chilling by the bubble tube.I enjoy watching the lights change and feeling the gentle vibrations with my feet against it !

Cleaning clay pots

Have been cleaning clay pots with damp sponges to get off any rough edges and get the pots ready for firing. I enjoy the cool hard dry clay and thought the sponge was really strange!

Duck feeding

We went for a walk around Carmichael reserve and we fed the ducks, they were really hungry

Cooking

I enjoyed our session and helped prepare the apples ready for our fruit salad.Alissa cut the fruit after I had helped to wash it.It looked very colourful and the pineapple was juicy and sweet smelling.

Sensory

Very happy and relaxed today.I enjoyed watching my friend sing along to some new sounds,classical music for a change.I love to watch the lights change colour and I found some of my favourite objects to explore.

Xmas tree shop

We went to the Xmas tree shop and there was so much to look at and touch ❤️❣

Visiting the donkeys

I had a great time with all the animals my favourite were the donkeys. I had the biggest simile when I got to pat the donkeys head :) 

Xmas shop

I really enjoyed the different toys and items on the tree. It was fun to touch and squeeze the lollies on the Xmas tree. There were lots of lights  that had many colours .

Sensory

We made waves from lights and the sheer fabric and listened to the seagulls and the sound of the sea crashing on the seashore....I Liked putting my feet on the lights and found a soft sparkly fish hidden.

The New Boss

Look what I got up to today! Decide to check out the bosses desk and the chairs a perfect fit...could get comfy here !!

Costumes

This afternoon for girls group I went on an outting to the costume shop. I really liked looking at all the sparkely shoes and masks.

Sensory

We listened to an unusual cd of music,story and animal sounds...my friend sang along and I relaxed on a bean bag watching the lights and wrapping myself in some sheer fabric.....I liked looking through it finding different objects.

Cookery

Today we cleaned the cupboards in the kitchen,a very important job.I helped to tidy the boxes and enjoyed sorting the large utensils.

Sensory

I had an awesome sensory session With the disco ball. I lay on the floor and watched all the colours go around on the ceiling.

Face masks

Yesterday in girls group we tryed out Avo and yogurt face masks. I liked having it on my face but I especially liked the hot cloth on my face afterwards.

Outing at palmers

It was a lovely outing at palmers where we got to see lots of plants and animals. I really liked the cows and the water features.

Sensory

Today I chose to use the light ball.I helped to switch it on and enjoyed the patterns the lights made as it moved around on the wall.

Baseball match

It was fun playing rounders with my friends against Wilrose in a friendly game. I had a home run and caught the ball in the field :)

The elms

Had a lovely outing at the elms on the Tuesday morning.

Having a go

Yesterday I had a go at pottery in girls group. I had a go at sponging down the top of our inscent burner.

Planting seeds

I planted some seeds in a pot of soil and compost, I am very excit d to see what grows!

Cooking

We learnt how to make a soft boiled egg.My friends cut a piece of toast into finger size slices to dip into the egg,I was very interested to look inside the egg when it had been cooked.

Computers

In our session today we used the iPad.I enjoy looking at pictures of myself...I took this close up !!

Sensory

Today I enjoyed a sensory session...I found my favourite object,a large boat and had fun putting things into it.

Cooking goodies

I had fun blending the ingredients together :) the lemon slice turned out good. I got to taste some of the icing . 

Dress up's

I'm dressing up in a tutu I made in upcycle clothing.

Outing the beach

On Friday I went on an outing to the mount to be part of the photography photo shoot I had an awsome time.

Making butter

We made butter.  We poured cream into a jar and we shook the jar until the cream turned into butter and buttermilk.  We made sandwiches for our friends.

Basketball match

I had fun today at the basketball game against Wilrose. My teams mates did well getting lots of goals and being good team players. 

Curried eggs

I had a go at making curried eggs in cooking.

Glow disco

On Friday we had a shared Lunch of pumpkin soup and then enjoyed a boggie down at the glow disco in the sensory room.

Play dough

I made play dough with my friends.  I used peppermint to make it smell nice.  I made blue, pink and green dough to use in the sensory room.

Cooking fun :)

I had fun cooking yummy cheese scones. I can't wait to do more cooking with my friends.

Twinkle toes

Relaxing in the foot spa

I love the vibrations in the foot spa.  I am looking at the wheat bags we are making to enjoy using in girl's group.

Playing dress up

I had a real ball in Trying on new items of clothing that will be blinded up and put into my special dress up box. I love trying on new clothes and modelling items that we are up-cycling for the gallery. 

Garden art machanics

I really love the baby screws that came out of  the old phones that we took apart today. I was very interested to see what was inside and how every worked. I can't wait to make my robot.

Sensory sensations

Casey-Rose loved time in the sensory room exploring sounds and lights.  The balloons and colours floated around the room and I laughed and laughed.

Having fun in Up Cycling

High tea

For girls group we had a high tea I enjoyed getting pampered by trudy from the body shop she even gave me a foot rub.

Sensory jars

I had fun making sensory jars . The pretty colours and buttons looked different in the coloured water.

Marshalls animal farm

Yesterday we went to Marshalls animal farm.  It was lots of fun I especially liked Gabrielle the huge Clydesdale horse.

Exploring different sizes, shapes, weights and textures.

I had a fun time reaching my hand into a box and pulling out different objects with my hands. I then discussed with my group how the items felt and we described them. I has so much fun as I love to explore new and exciting things

New toys!

On Tuesday I went out shopping at the op shop and brought myself some new toys, I love my new toys they come with me every where I go :)

Arts and crafts

I enjoyed painting a picture for my family. I liked using the sponge paint brush :)

Exploring playdough

In tactile activities I had fun exploring playdough. I liked sticking all kinds of different odds and sods into the playdough and seeing how they looked. 

Exploring different balls

In tactile activities we played with and explored different sizes, shapes and textures on balls. We even played bowling, I loved stealing the pins while Melissa was bowling and thought it was hilarious.
