I enjoyed big ball soccer in the field, it was lots of fun rolling and kicking this huge ball around with my friends

I loved getting a foot massage and getting my hair brushed and hanging out with the girls in the sunshine

I enjoyed trying to figure out how this dancing cactus worked. I liked the lights but I loved how funny it felt dancing in my hand

Circability Event

 This week my outing group went to the Circability event at the youth centre. It was exciting to see Rowan and our other friends. There was an active area and a quiet and sensory area. I even got a tattoo!

Girls group

 

The moment i get to girls group I be line to the foot spas. It is a great relaxing session and I enjoyed getting my hair done at the same time. I even made sure I croc got a dip

I loved exploring these circles and finding out my crocodile would fit inside and hide. These circles are not to be used as hats though! Lots of giggles figuring them out

I had a fun time helping tidy the dress up boxes today. I loved this big fluffy tail, it was great to cuddle it and the clip on it was interesting to explore. I helped put all the hats away

Sports outing

 

I had an absolute blast at the park and enjoyed the swing and the slide. I went straight back to the slide and  up a big hill just to go down again, it was awesome. I wasn't to keen on the trampoline though

Girls group

 

Every Girls group i love getting the foot spa out immediately. It was lovely and relaxing and I had a wonderful foot massage too

Fluffies

 Today we went out to the new cafe at the historic village and got fluffies! It was lovely to sit in the nice chairs and enjoy the ambiance. The fluffies were yum!

Sensory

 

I enjoyed the lights I  the sensory room. These bottled lights were awesome to explore up close and we had fun foil balloons that were different colours depending on the room. One popped and i enjoyed the sounds it made and threading it through my turtle bracelet. I loved watching different fabrics and balloons fly in the light when held close to the fan

It was a relaxing music session where I explored lots of different instruments.

I enjoyed helping clean the toys and cool my feet off in the cool pool of water. It was a lovely relaxing session. I also enjoyed sitting on the warm concrete

I really enjoyed my sports outing. I love the cones and I really enjoyed walking around the croquet couse to pick up the croquet hoops. It was lots of fun and laughter

Hanging at the Library

 Today I had a lovely day at the library hanging with Caleb and reading at the library. It was nice to get out of the dreary day. 

Music fun

 

Todays music session was so fun. We jammed out to a ton of Old School Rock music.

I loved the lights and the wind in the sensory room, it was lovely and relaxing and i got a fun massage with the different fabrics on my skin

Isla park playground

 We had a fun cricket game at Isla park. I really liked climbing through the rope tunnel and laying on the slide while we slid my toys down to the ground. I used the cricket bat as a drum for sticks, and slid my toys down the bat also.

Cargo shed

  Today I went to the cargo shed to see the Climate Canvas exhibition. 

There were art works from 10 finalists on display including our staff member Dee. She joined us for out outing today and was excited to show us her art. We talked about climate action and how Arohanui takes part every day.

Lived the afternoon of massage chair and foot spas. So lovely.

I had a wonderful time exploring the library with my friends. I loved knocking over towers of connect 4 pieces and exploring the puzzles on the table

I really enjoyed the ice in the sensory room, they smelt yummy with different flowers frozen in there and the different colours, it was lovely and cooling on such a hot day

  I love going for walks out in the sunshine! It’s good to get out and about with my friends.

I loved the tennis court, the racket and the bouncy ball were really interesting and the concrete was lovely and warm. It was a wonderful time out exploring
