My Month of July

Well, I don’t know where this month has gone but it’s sure been a fun month.  We celebrated a friend's birthday with a party and cool music one day when he turned 50! What a great time we had.

I’ve enjoyed head massages this month.  We have this head massager wand that I love feeling moving over my head.  I also enjoyed feeling the vibrations of the massage gun against my hand.  The massage chair came in handy too.  It’s been a great way to relax.

I’ve been helping out with putting my rubbish and laundry out and loading the washing machine still.  I even take the laundry hamper back to its corner.  I love being helpful.  I’ve also learnt about recycling this month too.  One day we took soft plastics and bottle caps to be recycled and then took some flower pots to Mitre 10 and recycled them as well.

On one of my outings I went to  a Matariki Scavenger Hunt at the Historic Village and fairy garden.  It was a lot of fun looking for all the items.  On another outing I enjoyed a walk to the Tauranga Racecourse.

I’ve learnt about Sun safety too which is good because summer will be here before we know it.  In another session we did some colouring in.  I loved seeing the different colours on the paper.  We played with the sensory toys one day,  and I loved feeling all the different textures of them and how squishy different toys were.

In music we had nursery rhymes, Hi 5 and Grease songs playing.  I enjoyed feeling the vibration of different musical instruments.

In sports we played ten pin bowling.  I rolled the ball and hit the pins!  Later on we played a game where we passed a ball around the table.  We got so good that we had two balls going at once!
